  • Monitor your UNCW e-mail or your personal e-mail address (if you provided to the university for emergency communication) for UNCW alert messages
  • Look for broadcast voicemail messages from UNCW Alert (if you provided your cell phone number for emergency communication)
  • Read the UNCW Alert Emergency Information Web site
  • Watch for new information on the UNCW homepage and “Breaking News” headlines on all campus Web sites
  • Check campus cable TVs and campus Channel 77for interrupts from UNCW Alert
  • Listen for the Seahawk Outdoor Warning Siren System
  • Monitor local media for updates
