Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages retail-specific products for vendor communities through a combination of analysis, specification and interpretation, EDI strategies and execution of service.    Responsible for oversight on all technical aspects of the project’s delivery in regards to development of these into the overall project plans and timelines as well as timely ongoing maintenance and bug fixes. 
  • Ensures consistency of products through maintenance of a “Blueprint”.  Ability to view each situation holistically based on potential impact to multiple products, customers, etc.  Understanding the full suite of SPS Commerce products and processes is essential.
  • Ultimately responsible for delivery (perhaps not directly for):  mapping, testing, datacenter setups, connectivity, regression testing, and retail-specific data.
  • Serves as the design lead and primary technical (EDI) contact for the aforementioned account type, including facilitating all necessary communications internally and with the retailer. 
  • Collaborates with other team members and other areas within the company to support SPS Commerce’s strategy and process. 
  • Reporting on key metrics as defined by productivity targets, due date delivery, and minimal production impact.
  • Performs other projects and responsibilities, as required/assigned.

10th Annual R. Gene Richter Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Students

The Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM) is pleased to partner with the R. Gene and Nancy D. Richter Foundation in the promotion of the R. Gene Richter Scholarship Program. Additional background information about the program is included below. The R. Gene and Nancy D. Richter Foundation in partnership with the R. Gene Richter Scholarship Fund at ISM will provide scholarships of up to US$5,000 to individuals seeking education in the area of supply management or supply chain management for the 2013-2014 academic year. Eligible students will be in their senior year during the 2013-2014 academic year with a graduation date of December 2013 or April/May 2014. Students must be enrolled full time in an accredited supply management or supply chain management program with the intention of specializing in the supply management profession. Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on outstanding academic achievement, high ethical standards and potential to become a future leader in the supply management field. During the 2012 application process, a total of 65 applicants represented 32 different schools.
