K-grams Kids Fair

April 12th, 2013

Permission Slips and Waivers - Permission slips need to be sent out to parents to allow the children to attend this event (unless already taken care of during the year). You will also need to obtain media permission release forms for your students, since there may be newspaper and camera crews covering the event. Please contact Kristin ( if you need additional forms or have misplaced the one supplied in this packet.

Chaperones – We invite you to bring as many chaperones as possible! Chaperones can ride on the bus or drive separately, though we encourage travel by bus because of limited parking availability.

Lunches - Kids must bring their own bag lunches with their name and classroom on it.  Please remind your students they must not bring PRODUCTS CONTAINING PEANUTS OR NUTS since there are several students with severe allergies that will be attending Kids’ Fair. Concessions (pizza and pop) will be provided for teachers and chaperones.

Bus Ride –Your Color Captains (Hall Heads, BookMARK coordinators, and other KPC members) will meet you at your school on the morning of Kids’ Fair and will ride to Cliff Keen Arena with you. There will be at least one K-grams college volunteer per bus. They will have detailed information such as maps, activity lists, and programs for you and your students, as well as fun activities for your kids to do on the bus.

Special Needs – Please let Kristin know as soon as possible ( if any of your students have special needs that we should be aware of. Please also notify us if there are any students that need wheelchair accessibility into Cliff Keen Arena, so that we can make appropriate accommodations.

Other - Please bring a permanent marker with you so your students can label all belongings; they will be leaving them in your school’s assigned section.

We can’t wait for Kids-Fair, and we hope that you and your students are as excited as we are!  If there is anything else we can do to make it a fun and enjoyable experience, please let us know!
