Your task:

PART A: You will be editing (10) photographs that you will be editing using the GIMP photo editing software. You should put these original and edited photographs (20 total) into a PowerPoint presentation (just as you did you with the previous project) in a neat and professional manner.

PART B: Along with this, you will be writing a ONE-HALF page (double spaced) or 250 words, summary for each photo, describing the photo, details about the location of the photo/lighting/colour/time of day etc., the editing techniques you used, along with WHY YOU CHOSE TO USE THE EDITING TECHNIQUES YOU DID.

The purpose of this assignment is for you to be able to 1) choose proper editing techniques and apply these skills in a professional manner and 2) to be able to justify your editing choices. Though the written portion of this assignment may seem minor and unimportant, it is imperative that you take time and understand why you chose to do what you did to the picture.

You will be given plenty of class time to work on this project. Take the time you are given and use it appropriately. If you run into problems, do not fret; be patient, and think of all possible solutions.

Due Date: Due by the end of the class on January 16th
