Off-Campus Recruiting

At the beginning of each year the Athletic Compliance Office will complete the Permissible Recruiting Form based on the coaches’ certification test results. If changes are made prior to or during the academic year, the changes should be noted on the form by the head coach and reported to the Compliance Office. The Compliance Office will maintain the Permissible Recruiters Form and copy appropriate coaches and administrative personnel.

The Football Office must designate, in writing to the Director of Compliance, the seven (7) permissible off-campus recruiters on a weekly basis during off-campus recruiting periods as well as the running tally of evaluation days used.  If the head coach is to replace one of the seven permissible recruiters, this must also be designated in writing.

The Basketball and Softball staffs must designate, in writing to the Director of Compliance, the various recruiting days they will use in the limited sections where staff members are limited to a set number of days. Changes to these days are permitted and must be documented in writing.
