This directory is designed to assist students who are studying Southern literature, Faulkner scholars and those who teach material written by or about William Faulkner. The content of this directory includes information pertaining to Faulkner’s life, his written works, and his lectures, which provide insight into many of his works. The websites selected for this directory do not represent the wide spectrum of materials available, but rather serve as a starting point accessible to the general public.

*Please note that there is a separate section for teaching Faulkner to secondary education students: most references pertain primarily to college undergraduates and graduate students, but my hope is that all of this is useful! Any feedback is greatly appreciated. If you know of a resource you find particularly helpful, please email me.

"Memory believes before knowing remembers. Believes longer than recollects, longer than knowing even wonders."
