I sing songs from the 1920's/30's and play Ukulele, Tenor Banjo and Plectrum Guitar. I live and travel aboard a traditional narrowboat on the Kennet and Avon canal.

Over the last 30 years I have performed solo, in many bands, started the first wooden ukulele club in the UK, co-hosted the Ukecast podcast and written books on teaching ukulele in schools.

Today I play rhythm guitar/ukulele with gypsy jazz band 'The Water Gypsies' and tenor banjo/ukulele with vintage Jazz and Blues skiffle troubadours 'Devil's Doorbell'. I have appeared on BBC radio as well as performing at The Grand Northern Ukulele Festival, Upton Jazz festival and Birmingham Jazz festival.
