2023-24  Statewide One-Act Play Festival Information

Again, the UIL Advisory Committee would like to help directors, clinicians and clinic hosts by having all festivals across the state posted to this website.

Please post your 2023-24 clinic information even if your clinic is full.

 ******

The minimum number of schools at a host site is not required. A school may bring a critic to their home campus.

A school’s session may not exceed more than 2 hours this includes the performance of the contest entry and critique.

The host school must submit a Festival Form to state office that includes name of school, administrator, play title and clinician’s name.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE LEAGUE OFFICE OAP FESTIVAL CONFLICT FORM

Directors and critic judges should take care to avoid festivals where the critic may judge the production at any level of competition.  Clinicians shall request a list of the plays they are seeing.  The document shall include the schools, play titles, and their UIL district, region, area and conference.  The clinician shall sign the form acknowledging that they have reviewed it and have no conflicts.  The form shall be sent to the UIL office and placed in the clinician's file.
The form may be downloaded from the Theatre section of the UIL website or CLICK HERE

The database is linked at the UIL Drama website.
