• State of Hawaii Employees' Benefits Fair

The Island Savings Plan is hosting an Employees' Benefits Fair on O‘ahu.

    DATE:     Wednesday, May 11, 2016
    TIME:      9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
PLACE:   State Capitol Building ( Chamber Level)
                    415 South Beretania Street

Sponsored by the State of Hawai‘i Deferred Compensation Plan/Island Savings Plan, the benefits fair provides a great opportunity for employees to learn about the Island Savings Plan (ISP) and other employee benefits.  The ISP is a voluntary retirement savings plan intended to help employees save for retirement using pre-tax contributions, and potential tax-deferred growth. The taxes are paid when funds are distributed, normally at retirement.

Employees may receive one-on-one assistance from ISP Retirement Education Counselors and learn about the ISP investment options.  The ISP plan’s investment fund providers and other benefit plan representatives will be available to answer questions.  The Governor has approved the use of up to two (2) hours of work time (which includes travel time) to attend ONE (1) fair this calendar year.  Please ensure proper authorization has been received from your supervisor prior to attending the benefits fair.
