Who We Are

United Faculty (UF) represents the 604 full-time faculty in the North Orange County Community College District (NOCCCD): Cypress College, Fullerton College, and the School of Continuing Education (SCE). The United Faculty Association (UF) is recognized by the NOCCCD as the exclusive representative of full-time faculty in the District.

UF advances the general welfare of faculty as the exclusive bargaining entity for full-time faculty: UF negotiates salary, benefits, the academic calendar, the employment contract, and other matters relating to employment conditions and employer-employee relations and grievances.

UF is governed by an Executive Board (E-Board) and a Representative Council (Rep Council), which is proportionally representative of full-time faculty from across the District. UF is affiliated with the Community College Association (CCA), the California Teacher's Association (CTA), and the National Education Association (NEA); therefore, UF members are eligible for the myriad benefits and protections available through the above organizations. (See "Our Union Makes Us Strong" for more details about the benefits of belonging to these associations).
