International Student Experience at UD
Based on results from the International Student Barometer

During the fall 2008 semester, the University of Dayton once again participated in the International Student Barometer (ISB) , the largest study of international students in the world with feedback from over 250,000 students over the last three years.

The ISB allows UD to benchmark itself against other universities in the United States such as Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati, as well as universities from other areas of the world.

UD respondents included undergraduate and graduate students, and students in UD's Intensive English Program, and exchange students. The University of Dayton is a leading university worldwide in learning, living and support services for international students.

The University of Dayton achieved high rates of satisfaction rate in many areas including:
  • Support services offered by the international student and scholar 
  • Services office
  • Quality of teachers
  • Registration process
  • University orientation
  • Banking system

Other areas where the University of Dayton students were especially satisfied included: assessment and performance feedback; learning support and learning spaces; technology and the internet; safety; visa advice; residential services office; and university clubs and organizations.
