An sunshine filled, action packed day was spent at the Upper Chesapeake Waterski Club on Aug. 13th. Mother nature gave us challenging conditions compared to our normal calm water, and everyone had a great time (think moto-cross water). In a single day, we had a first time skier progress from never having skied on the water to skiing behind the boat! A gaggle of young up and rising new friends learned how to multi-ski and share the water behind the boat. Several older skiers came to test their skills from as far away as Minnesota! (yes - the older generation can still do it!).

Safe starts, new forever memories, and happy landings were had by all. Thank you to all instructors, drivers, shore directors, safety staff, and administration working behind the scenes to hold such a great event. We had a great turnout, sunny weather and many many new friends and memories.
