What is SOLR:
° SOLR, student org leadership retreat, is a 3 hour "mini-conference" intended to build on the leadership skills that can help you sustain a successful student organization.

What to expect at SOLR:
° Key-note speaker (more information below)*
° Get up-to-date information on organization-related issues
° Attend breakout sessions on the building blocks to leadership success
° Learn about new and upcoming resources for organizations
° Make connections with other student leaders and UCSD advisers/staff

◆ Key Note Speaker: Alejandra Solis
Alejandra Solis is a UCSD alumni, who was previously the President of MECHA when she attended the university.  She currently serves as the Vice-Mayor of National City, as well as the Director of the Community Law Project at UCSD.  On April 16th, she will be sharing many of her inspirational stories and words of guidance as our key note speaker for SOLR 2012.

Who should attend SOLR:
° All students interested in leadership development, especially current and aspiring student organization leaders.
