While the girls are in session, we are hosting a separate talk for parents and educators from 9:30 - 11:00 titled:
"Why So Few Women are in Engineering"
by Debra Kimberling, Society of Women Engineers and Solar Turbines

Have you ever wondered why there are so few women in Engineering? Debra Kimberling from the Society of Women Engineers addresses these topics and more using the latest research as well as her own insights as a woman engineer for over 30 years in academia, government, and industry. Learn how early career choices are influenced, the hurdles women face in entering and sustaining an Engineering career, and what you can do to support girls no matter which career they choose.
