Our Statement of Faith

 As a church fellowship, we believe in God who is infinite in wisdom, power and love; whose mercy is over all His work and whose will is ever directed to His children’s good.

In joy do we confess that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord and with gladness do we see that we are called to proclaim, by the power of the Holy Spirit, the Good News of God’s reconciling grace. In the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, our God seeks, in holy love, to save all people. To all who would trust Him, He promises forgiveness of sin and fullness of life, now and forever.

We believe in the Holy Spirit – God present with and within us – who daily offers us guidance, comfort and strength.

With the inspiration and embracing love of God’s Holy Spirit, we strive to be followers of Jesus Christ.

Our Statement for Acting out our Faith

We celebrate the rich heritage of several religious backgrounds among our members. Recognizing that each individual’s journey of faith is unique, we are people who:

  • claim a personal relationship to God in Jesus Christ and who attempt to live our lives as visible witnesses to God’s love;
  • receive the Bible as the inspired Word of God, our guide for daily living, and who seek by the guidance of the Holy Spirit to understand and interpret God’s Word;
  • gather regularly to worship, praise God and publicly confess our faith in a corporate celebration of joy;
  • strive to fulfill the Great Commission, inviting persons to come to know Christ, making new disciples and reaching out to support a worldwide mission effort;
  • care for the needy, the weak, the hurt and the oppressed;
  • find unity in our diversity as we respect individual differences of conviction and theology.
