Teachers in Action with Persons

Meet TIA Principal Investigator Rebecca Hines

with Disabilities through High-
Tech High-Touch Service-Learning is a Learn & Serve America grantee.  The grant was written by service-learning expert Dr. Trae Stewart and Dr. Rebecca A. Hines, an Associate Professor in Special Education at the University of Central Florida.  Dr. Marcey Kinney, Special Education faculty at Bethune-Cookman University, also collaborated to write the project proposal.
 
Project Director Shawn Eigenbrode provides support to faculty using the Teachers in Action model, and Project Coordinator Sharonda Elliott supports students through the University of Central Florida's Blackboard-based version of Teachers in Action.
