UCF Rugby Scholarship 

The University of Central Florida's Rugby Alumni are now taking applications for the upcoming academic year. 

About The University of Central Florida's Rugby Alumni Scholarship. 

The scholarship is intended for rugby players (with previous experience) who plan to play for either the UCF’s men’s or women’s rugby team in the upcoming academic year. (2026 - 2027)

The UCF Alumni Rugby Scholarship is an endowment scholarship award that typically varies based on interest received from our fund.  The last few years, students have received $850 each year (or more).  The scholarship is renewable and students can potentially earn up to $3,400  (or more) over four years if they continue playing with the team and annually meet the scholarship requirements. As the endowment grows, greater monetary values will be awarded.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the interested individual must:

• be accepted into the University of Central Florida

• be currently playing or previously played the sport

• Satisfy the USA Rugby Collegiate Eligibility criteria

Preference is given to scholarship applicants who receive a letter of recommendation from the Alumni Committee
