March 2, 2017: All, I was unclear in one of my sections (I can't recall which one) about how to identify/apply a corrective tax (I had a brain fart). Please see this clarifying document, and feel free to see me during office hours on Monday if you have any further questions. Note you could also add solution (iii) Give the subsidy entirely to consumers. See if you can figure out how this would look on a graph.
February 28, 2017: I've uploaded my lesson plan for tonight. I've also linked to next week's lesson plan in advance. I encourage you to review it this week and come to section next week with questions.

April 20, 2016:
My lesson plan for April 20 has now been uploaded. Please review it this week, if possible. I believe it covers the essential concepts from
your lectures, but we may not have time to go over all of it during our discussion sections.
A reminder: I am holding an extra office hour today, from 6:10-7:00pm unless there is no one in my office at 6:30, in which case I will leave.
You may (or may not) find it helpful to attempt an old midterm from a different Principles of Microeconomics class I used to teach in Vancouver. The odd concept may be unfamiliar (in which case, skip the question), and the style of questions is not exactly as your upcoming midterm, but it will offer you some extra practice and help you think about these concepts a little differently. Come to my office hours if you wish to discuss the answers.
