Service of Remembrance

On Sunday, May 28th at 10:00 a.m. Hawaii Kai United Church of Christ will be remembering our members and friends who have passed away.  This initial special service of remembrance will be a part of our regular Sunday worship service and will include the lighting of a candle for each sister or brother who has passed since 2012.

We believe that our loved ones who believed in and followed Christ Jesus, have eternal life.  This comfort may still, at times, elude our human hearts.  We still miss them, we still grieve, and we still need to remember.  Sometimes, we need a special gathering with family and friends to once again treasure and thank God for our departed loved ones.

The families of these loved ones have been invited to this special worship service.  Please join in remembering and giving thanks for the lives of faithful members of the HKUCC ‘ohana and of the wider Body of Christ.
