Who we are: A diverse group of people interested in exploring different traditions and styles of meditation practice in an informal setting*.

Where we meet: Unitarian Church of Baton Rouge, 8470 Goodwood Blvd. Baton Rouge, Louisiana

When we meet: Weekly on Thursday Nights from 7:00-8:30pm**.  Please see the calendar below for our schedule of activities.

Other Information:

The group is free and run by group members.

To be as comfortable as possible, dress in loose fitting clothing. Cushions, couches, and chairs are available, but feel free to bring your own meditation cushions, benches etc.

If there is a particular meditation practice that you would like to try, or  that you have some experience with, please come and share it with us.

What we are doing now

Besides our weekly 40 minute meditation session, we sometimes read and discuss a book, watch a video, or listen to audio related to meditation. 

During February we are reading "Wherever You Go, There You Are" by Jon Kabat-Zinn
