Seven or so years after that i found out about my bloodline with Gustav Vasa, I again got the idea of looking further into the genealogy on the female side. So I decided to find more about the ancestry of Catharina Sachsen-Lauenburg, whom Gustav Vasa married not only of love, but also to become associated to the ancestry of the Sachsen-Lauenburg family. And after looking into it, I do not think he could have found a better wife from this point of view! The number of kings, queens, emeperors, saints, etc that can be found here is just amazing!

Below are shown three bloodlines that I think are good examples of that.

The first goes back 34 generations from me to the viking Rollo, the second goes back 30 generations to Rurik, the founder of Russia, and the third goes back 27 generations to Ioannes Komnenos, the father of the Byzantine emperor Alexios Komnenos.
