Welcome to the home of the University at Albany student chapter of the
New York Society of Securities Analysts!

The objective of the student chapter of the New York Society of Security Analysts at the University at Albany is to connect Financial Analyst Honors students and University at Albany School of Business Investment Group members to finance professionals. Our aim is to give chapter members the opportunity to leverage the professional relationships they develop to increase the number of summer internship opportunities, as well as full-time job opportunities available to them after graduation.

Why a NYSSA student chapter?

As a part of the University at Albany’s student chapter, participants will be able to network among NYSSA’s 10,000+ members. Benefits of student membership also include access to a password-protected NYSSA member directory and complimentary networking events, along with a host of other member discounts.

Who can join?

The University at Albany NYSSA student chapter will be open to Financial Analyst Honors Program students as well as all members of the University at Albany School of Business Investment Group.

How do I become a member?

Qualified individuals must retrieve an application from the chapter's Faculty Advisor, Professor David Smith. The application must be completed and each applicant must pay a $45 NYSSA student membership fee. Once the application is processed by NYSSA, membership will be activated and will end on the last day of the month in which it was activated in the subsequent year.
