You should do it too; it's easy. You don't need all that CPU time for LOLcats and facebook anyways.

Weather Balloon Photography

A tethered helium balloon was launched with a camera with custom firmware and an intervalometer script to take aerial photos of the McMurry campus and as an educational opportunity for the resident 5th grade class. Results were a bit blurry, but much fun was had.

Xmas Break Computer Build

I have been a bit bored so I built a computer for my enjoyment. I copy-pasted some stock photos of the hardware below. I'm amazed at how simply and smoothly everything went, and in the end I got a pretty amazing machine for ~$500.
