I am Chef Investment Officer at Copernicus Wealth Management SA,  adjunct finance faculty at the University of Mannheim, member of the Editorial Board of the Financial Analyst Journal and research fellow of the Hamburg Financial Research Center. Previously, I was Deputy CIO at TOBAM and Head of Equity and Asset Allocation for the Third Party Asset Management at Swiss Life Asset Managers. In 2014 I obtained my Ph.D. in Finance of the Swiss Finance Institute and the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich. From August 2012 until September 2013 I was also a visiting predoctoral research fellow at the Finance Department of Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.  My research interests include: 1) asset management (asset allocation, option markets, investment strategies), 2) asset pricing (factor models, return predictability) and 3) corporate finance (the interaction of corporate investment and financing decisions with the macroeconomy).
