Our mission is to provide all community members with the opportunity for lifelong learning by promoting literacy, providing access to information and offering programs for enrichment.

Book Club

  • February Book Our next book club meeting is Monday, February 6, at 7:30pm. We'll be discussing To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.  We have several copies available at the library if you feel like speed reading.  It's Linda's turn to bring book suggestions and a snack.March's book is Ready Player One by Ernest Cline .  From the back cover, "In the year 2044, reality is an ugly place. 2. Once you're registered, log-in by selecting Tri-Valley Community Library and entering your number

    Keep those Box Tops Coming!  Thanks to everyone who has brought Box Tops to the library. They really do add up to help buy library materials!!  Many thanks to Nancy Covell for counting them up and sending them in every quarter!

    Tri-Valley Book Club. Monday, February 6, 7:30pm:
    We'll be discussing the classic book, To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee. We have several copies at the library. March's book is Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. Join us and/or contact Amanda to add your name on our email list.

    TVCL Board Meeting, Tuesday, February 7, 6:30pm: Meetings are open to the public, and we currently have one board seat open.

    Stardust by Neil Gaiman, Books-To-Movies Teen Book Club, Sunday, February 19, 4:30pm: Read the book. Watch the movie. Search for a star! Bring your own drink with a lid and $5 for pizza. Copies of the book available at the library. Review the movie at https://www.commonsensemedia.org/movie-reviews/stardust. Sign up in advance appreciated but not required!

    Winterfest Birthday Cake Bake-Off! Saturday, February, 25: In honor of Denali's 100th birthday TVCL is organizing a birthday cake bake-off on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Tri-Valley Community Center. Open to all ages. Register by Monday, Feb. 20 at the library. Prizes will go to best presentation, best tasting and most creative! Bonus point if you use a library book recipe! :)

    Potluck Dinner and a Movie at the library. Sunday, February 26, 5:00pm. Chill out after Winterfest and enjoy a good movie. This month we're showing Last Holiday. Bring gourmet food or just something fancy! Need ideas? Check out our cookbooks at the library.

    Story Hour, Tuesdays, 11am: Accompany your little one to enjoy stories, crafts, physical movement and song. Every Tuesday at 11am. Jessie Clark is our volunteer coordinator again this year! If you are interested in volunteering to present story hour programs, please contact her at jessielclark@gmail.com.

    Sunday: noon- 4:30pm
    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday*: 3:30 - 8:30pm

    *The first Wednesday of ever month the library closes at 6:30pm
