Golden Sound Showcase Wrap-Up
Thank you to everyone who volunteered for the 13th Annual Golden Sound Showcase!  The event was a huge success thanks in part to your awesome support!!  THANK YOU!!


Hosting OMEA State Marching Band Finals
The next big volunteer opportunity is similar to the Showcase. We have been asked to help with hosting State Marching Band Finals at Hilliard Bradley the morning and afternoon of November 2nd. (We would be finished well before OUR 7:45pm performance time.) We are again looking for parents and siblings.  Jobs are similar to Showcase jobs, with the the exception of concessions. (No concessions)



Band Alumni Volunteers-Nov. 2
Hello Band Alumni!!  We are in need of alumni volunteers to help guide bands on November 2 at OMEA State Finals at Hilliard Bradley. Marching Band Season Parent Volunteers

Are you willing to help The Golden Sound be successful?  We are in need of many parent volunteers for EVERY performance!!  We need chaperones, dinner/cookie parents, pit crew volunteers, trailer drivers and others to help the Golden Sound SHINE!!!  Please click the link below to register your availability!  We can't wait to share the Golden Sound kids with you!!

After School Rehearsals
Please don't forget that all students are required to attend one sectional rehearsal and the Thursday full band rehearsals from 5pm-8pm each week. Students must have their instrument, accessories, drill books, flip folders, proper dress and a water jug with water for each rehearsal.

Mondays 3-4:30pm:  Flutes, Clarinets, Trumpets, All Percussion.  Color Guard rehearsal is from 4:00pm-6:00pm.

Tuesdays:  Alto Saxes, Mellophones, Low Brass
3:00-4:30pm.



2020 Disney Trip Information 
There are a number of students who still have not registered for the trip. We must have everyone do this as soon as possible.  Please remember that payments go directly to Bob Rogers Travel. Please scroll to the bottom of the page for a tentative itinerary and payment information.

Important Reminders:

Required supplies for every concert season rehearsal:

Each student must have their instrument, concert music, a pencil, required accessories (mouthpiece, reeds, oil, slide grease, etc.) every day for class.  During concert season, each student has rehearsal 5th OR 6th period, with lunch and a study hall the opposite period.
