Scientist of the Month

  • Albert Einstein Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany.  He didn't show promise as a boy but he was quite bright.  He studied medicine and science, primarily at home and started in the patent office after graduating from college.He is most famous for the equation that summarizes his work in theoretical physics E=mc2.   He developed the theory of relativity and received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922.  He worked on the Manhattan Project during World War II and is known as a human rights activist.  He is regarded as the greatest physicist of the twentieth century.
