Update: This site is no longer maintained. Please take a look at my LinkedIn profile.

Thank you for taking an interest in my profile! My name is Tushar Kawsar (Abdul Kawsar Tushar), and I am currently a software engineer with Usertesting. Before this, I was a software engineer with Telmax.

My most recent research experience was as a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. The name of my supervisor was Prof. Syed Ishtiaque Ahmed. I worked in the Dynamic Graphics Project (DGP) lab and my specialization was in Human-Computer Interaction.

My previous experiences include data science/machine learning positions at the University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh and Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, Korea. I have worked with software projects in Python, C/C++, Java, and PHP. I have also held teaching positions at the University of Toronto and University of Asia Pacific.

My previous research projects included optical character recognition via applying deep learning techniques, increasing viability of human-computer interaction methods, and enhancing a special variation of k-NN classification method. Currently a resident of Toronto, I was originally born and brought up in the magical 400-year-old city called Dhaka.

Take a look at my LinkedIn profile, where I have tried to add some useful information about me.

I have made a last-minute checklist for researchers, to help them get rid of smaller but fatal mistakes in papers.
