What is Tucson STEM Community?

Here's the answer from the group's founder, Brian Ellerman (Executive-in-Residence at Tech Launch Arizona):

A very informal collection of those interested or working in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

My hope in meeting is to catalyze conversation, make connections, and move forward various initiatives in the Southern Arizona community and beyond related to STEM education and promotion.

Worst case, it’s an excuse to meet and have a nice beer after work.

The Q3 meeting happens Tuesday, September 19 at 1702 Pizza & Beer. Brian and I will be there by 4:30 p.m. to get tables, and we'll stay until at least 7:00 p.m., so please just show up when it's most convenient for you. Most people arrive around 5:00 when parking is free in the UA surface lot at the SE corner of Speedway and Cherry.

If you have any questions, please ask! And as always, please feel free to forward this to anyone I might have missed who is active and passionate about STEM and our community.

Also, Tucson STEM Community has a Facebook group--if you'd like to be added as a member, please let me know.
