Superintendent's Advisory Council

The Superintendent’s Advisory Council is a countywide, community-led organization.  It is committed to providing a voice for the citizens of Tucker County by representing and presenting the interests of the community to the administrative and policy making bodies of the Tucker County Schools.

Each stakeholder group has multiple representatives on the Superintendent’s Advisory Council.  Stakeholders consist of parents, educators, students, board of education members, community members, the religious community and business members.  In addition to these various stakeholder groups, there are three Student Representatives who sit on the Board of Education as advisors about the opinions of the students.  The Superintendent’s Advisory Council works at its best when each stakeholder group is represented and when the representatives can learn about the concerns and interests of their fellow community members.

All meetings are open to the public.  Please join us if you are interested in participating.
