We are a group of 5 partners from Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Spain all interested in improving our educational practices about sustainable development. Sustainability is a cross-curricular content included in our partners´Educational Projects but we  believe that it is necessary to go in depth in the adoption of new actions for a sustainable consumption  both in the school and homes and the  preservation of environment. We  want  to improve  our students´ english linguistic skills and their  use of new technologies and to implement an optimistic , sensible and critical educational model about environmental sustainability avoiding effects such as indifference, conformity or resignation. The planned activities are to give an educational us to waste materials, to study our water consumption both in the school and at home , to monitor a paper and plastic life and to promote a responsible consumption. We will research the origin of some products our students and families consume and their environmental footprint in order to favour the consumption of local, nearby products and  promote attitudes as reducing and reusing above recycling ( the 3 R´s ). All these actions will be carried out through a collaborative research process in order to provide our students to come into contact with other ways of thinking and acting.
We want to do it together because the trans-national cooperation allows us to improve the motivation for learning the foreign language , gaining proficiency in areas of ICT and trade information to increase our intercultural knowledge. Families and local entities involvement will be essential for the achievement of this project.
To sum up , " TO LEARN TO HAVE LESS TO LIVE ON IN ORDER TO MANY MORE PEOPLE LIVE BETTER "
