Tualatin Boy Scouts Christmas Tree Recycling

Tualatin Boy Scout troops 35 and 530 will be scouring the neighborhoods for two weekends on the hunt for trees to be recycled. The two troops will work together to pick up trees on Saturday, Dec. 30, and Saturday, Jan. 6.  The Scouts ask that trees be curbside by 8 a.m. They are requesting a $10 donation for trees under 6 feet, and $15 for trees taller than 6 feet.  Scouts will be picking up trees between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.  To schedule a pickup, email trees@troop530.org.

A drop-off site will be set up both days in the north parking lot of Tualatin High School, 22300 S.W. Boones Ferry Road.  If you did not receive an envelope with information, please make checks payable to BSA, or Troop 530, and place in envelope on the tree or a scout can knock on your door for payment to prevent theft of payment.
