Both a gold and brown colored globe logo and the certified ‚ Authentic Amami Oshima Tsumugi Silk Pongee‚ trademark written in red Japanese characters is woven into each bolt of fabric to certify the locality in which it was made. The Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry‚ certification label for Designated National Traditional Crafts is also affixed. In addition, Doro Oshima and Kusakidoro Oshima certification stamps are secured to fabrics to prove that they are Authentic Amami Oshima Tsumugi Silk Pongee.
