Training and Development
Teaching assistants are indispensable to the success of any course, particularly large-scale foundational courses.

Within NTU’s Calculus programme, I am actively involved in the selection, induction, training, and continuing support of TAs who serve students across multiple classes.

At the university level, I have collaborated closely with Professor Albert Chen（陳柏華教授）of NTU’s Department of Civil Engineering on the development of NTU’s first STEM-specific EMI TA training programme. We designed a few official online certification courses for STEM teaching assistants and led in-person training sessions. The programme focused particularly on planning and delivering TA classes, communicating technical concepts effectively in English, and supporting students from diverse linguistic and educational backgrounds.

Our collaboration was also featured in an episode of the NTU Center for Bilingual Education podcast 《雙語臨門 NTU／臺大 CBE with You!》.
