TSCHAA August Newsletter

Welcome to TSCHAA!

Thank you so much for choosing TSCHAA as your 3rd option accountability association.TSCHAA's goal is to provide accountability and support for SC homeschoolers without requiring anything above the law.

You are free to homeschool as you choose as long as you are
following the Third Option Homeschool Law. Please keep in mind that you are the teachers. You can choose what curriculum and how much of the curriculum you want to cover. You have the freedom to create your own curriculum and the power to decide each school year. The law does not specify specific content in each grade or subject.

As you plan your homeschool journey,  make sure you have the end in mind.  Whether your child will be attending college, entering the military, or going straight into the workforce, you will need to make sure you are choosing courses that will open the doors of opportunity for your children.

Homeschooling is an amazing journey, and I hope that each of you enjoys every moment of it. If you ever need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Happy Homeschooling!

Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)

Did you know that public schools get funding to help all students with disabilities? This includes homeschoolers! Your local school district can help you with testing and educational services for free. If you need more information, please contact TSCHAA.
