Breakwater block are build with concrete.
However with the kinetic power from the waves along the coast way where breakwater blocks are made, if an efficient power generating structure is designed in the breakwater block, we could try to extract the kinetic energy.

with the shell compsoition being CaCO2, the shell of snail or clams are more long term storage solution of CO2 compared to plants and animal. 

If fast growing snail or clams are cultured and the shells are stored, how much CO2 can we scavenge?

clams grow 1cm, 0.7cm in the first two years

photosynthesis biotransformation generates carbohydrates which after carbs cycle, will still generate back CO2
chemical transformation will often generate CO2 and cost energy at some point

how about fixation of CO2 into carbonate with snail, oyster shell. 
launch to Mars for terraforming . 
will this be net reduction of CO2 ?

live biological samples with large volume often have oscillation of spontaneous movement that cannot be compensate even through deep anethesia.
A RNN based predicitive focusing system maybe able to compensate for the moving of the sample and adjust focus to keep locked on interested region
