Troop Update 9/12/17

Eagle Scout Project:

Kostya Y's Eagle Project Work Day Sunday, September 10th at 8 am, Kostya's Eagle Project will take place at the playground across from the Cherrydale Pond in Mechanicsville:

The project is based around painting, so wear appropriate clothes that will be able to get dirty. Bring safety glasses, and if you do not have your own, there are a couple extra.

Make sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Lunch will be provided, but make sure you eat before you come.

If you have extra tools, such as paint scrapers and wire brushes, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring them as well.

Additionally, you can bring work gloves if you want.

PLC:

Thursday, September 14th at 7 pm. Theme for September is "Orienteering". Come out and bring some ideas.

Order of the Arrow Service Weekend:

OA service weekend September 15th through 17th. Members are encouraged to sign up now. Come out and give some cheerful service.

Court of Honor:

Tuesday, September 19th. Menu will be Lasagna, please go to the signup genius that Ms. Bonds created and put down what you would like to bring.

Plan on Arriving around 6:00 PM to help set up and we start eating at 6:30 PM with the program starting at 7:30 and are usually done around 8:30 PM.

Please Bring your families. This is an Family Event! We want grandmothers, grandfathers, Aunt and Uncles to come. Bring your Mom and Dad, Brothers and Sisters. Bring your neighbor.

Brunswick Stew – Fall 2017:

It’s getting that time of year again, “STEW” start selling and keep us up to date on your count please. We will be at the FOP lodge on September 29th at 6PM into the 30th (ALL NIGHT).

Kroger Cards:

If you have not done so, please register your KROGER card. This is an easy way for us to raise funds for our Troop. Please get friends, family, co-workers, etc…. to sign up.
