Thank you!!! to all who covered the meeting for me, while Mr. Coffey and I took our family vacation.! Congratulations to Mr. Craig F. and his achievement of making the rank of Eagle Scout! Whoop whoop! Last night we had Mr. Ed Jones, form “Cycle Ed’s” come and speak with our scouts about cycling history and some practical skills of cycling. NEXT WEEK…..All scouts who are participating in the 50 mile DAY TRIP on the Capital Trail, on May 13 are to bring their bicycles and helmets to the meeting for inspections. We will go over details for departure and needed supplies, next week. ****WE ARE IN NEED OF TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT, FROM THE CARSON BUILDING TO SHOCKO BOTTOM, AND THEN FROM JAMESTOWN , BACK TO MECHANICSVILLE. WE WILL HAVE 8-10 SCOUTS AND BIKES THAT WILL NEED TO BE TANSPORTED

James River Canoe Trip…June 9-11 Summit Bechtel Reserve….June 18-24…the FINAL installment of $275 is due by MAY 23..We will have a brief meeting on May 16 to cover more details. Summer Camp @Goshen…July 2-8
Camp Fees are now due. Right now 4 are currently paid. After April 15th Price went up it is now $400.00.
2017 National Jamboree …July 19-28th
MEDICALS….Please be proactive on having these done. You will need these to be up to date to attend, Summer Camp, the National Jamboree, and The Summit Bechtel Reserve.
