We had a hognose snake join us for show and tell, very cool!
Next week, Sept 8th, we will not have a meeting Tuesday night so scouts and parents can concentrate on all the activities associated with the first day of school.
There will be a PLC next Thursday, September 10th. Please contact your patrol leaders with meeting ideas.
Our next meeting (Sept 15) will be our Fall Court of Honor. Families are encouraged to attend the dinner and the ceremony. Dinner will begin at 6:30. Families of the Greyt Wolves should bring a side dish, and families of the Road Runners should bring a dessert. (If you have sons in both, please bring either a side or a dessert, but not both.) The troop will be providing Chicken, Rolls, Salad, Drinks and Ice Cream. Please remember that this is a full Class A uniform event.
On-line training is available for every leader – please get caught up.
Stew is fast approaching (Oct. 2&3). Please make sure you have the dates on the calendar! We need all the scouts to sell, and just as importantly – we need all the scouts to participate!
There are still Jamboree Openings Left! The Council has committed to sending 9 Troops of 36 youth each to the Jamboree. Check outhttp://www.bsajamboree.org/
