OA Merit Badge Weekend and Winter Camp Commitments are needed at the meeting on October 11.
OA Merit Badge Weekend – October 21 – 23. We will be camping behind the Mechanicsville VFW (Cold Harbour Rd at Bell Creek Road). Leaders if you are a merit badge counselor, the OA members organizing the weekend need your help.

Winter Camp will be held January 13-16, 2012 at the Heart of Virginia Scout Reservation - Cub Adventure Camp. $50 program fee for each participant, youth or adult, covers all meals, patch and activities. Any merit badge costs will be the responsibility of each scout.

Appalachian Trail Overnighter Backpacking Trek - October 9 - 10. Ms Coffey will be leading a trip into the mountains. If you have never gone on the AT you are missing a great adventure among the beautiful mountains. Those attending will meet at the church at 7:00 AM, Sunday morning. Pack check for those you are going is 7:30 PM Thrusday.
October PLC is scheduled for October 13 at 7:30 PM at the Carson Building. If you are an officer and are unable to attend you must notify the Scoutmaster. We will work on October Meetings. We are doing High Adventure for the October theme. Please go to link below.

Scouting for Food Bags In and Bags Out are scheduled for October 29th and November 5th. Please make time in your schedule to help with this very important service project. We will meet at Northside Baptist Church on Studley Rd at 9:30 AM each Saturday. We should finish around 12:00 PM.
