Due to the cancellation of Tuesday's meeting, the Troop will now meet on Tuesday, November 6th. Please come prepared to sign up and get ready for our Chippokes Overnighter on November 10th.
Scouting for Food. “Bags In” is 10:00 AM on Saturday, November, 3rd. Please meet at Northside Baptist Chruch. Adults are needed to drive the Scouts through the neighbourhoods surrounding the church. Also needed for “Bags In” is trucks and trailers needed to haul the food to the collection site. According to the Food Bank the shelves are bare and need restocking. Please attend if it all possible to help with this very important service project. All scouts attending get service hours.

Also please bring any money collected to the meeting on Nov. 13th because the Troop will be near a deadline to pay. This year, Council is asking us to pay before we pick the orders on the first of December.
Chippokes Overnighter, Saturday, November 10th. Final sign-up Tuesday, November 3rd. We will meet at the church Saturday morning and drive to Chippokes State Park. Once there we will conduct skills training and a rocket launch demostration. This is our annual Campout where we host Webelos from local Packs.
November PLC is scheduled for Thursday, November 8th at 7:30 PM in the Carson Building. If you are an officer and are unable to attend you must notify the Scoutmaster. We will work on November and December Meetings. Please go to link below, and come to the meeting prepared.

Please help us welcome our newest member Brandon on Saturday, November 17th at 7:00 PM. Brandon is bridging from Pack 740. Pack 740's Arrow of Light and bridging ceremony will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on 8200 Woodman Rd., Richmond. Scouts and leaders are requested to attend to help make Brandon as welcome as possible.
Preliminary commitments are needed for Winter and Summer Camp at T.
Brady Saunders. Please talk with your Scouts about these camps. We need to get our reservation in soon for the best campsites.
Winter Camp January 18 – 21 (MLK Weekend) cost $50
Merit Badges available – Computers, Emergency Prep, Energy, Fingerprinting, Communications, First Aid, Citzenship in the Nation and many others
Summer Camp July 7 – 13 cost $285
Merit Badges, Traiblazers for new scouts, COPE and Ranger's Challenge for older scouts, Floating Iceburg, water activities and new water chute.
Do you want to be more involved with the Troop but don’t want to go camping? Please consider joining the committee. The Troop Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. Duties include budget, advancement, fund raising and leadership review.
If you have any current merit badge books that you are willing to part with– Please donate them to our troop library.
