Will M Eagle Court of Honor is on Sunday, October 23rd at 3pm (next Sunday) and he still needs several scouts who are willing to be in my ceremony as a card holder and/or the color guard. If you would be able to do this for me, please either email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 370-9679. We would have the practice at 2pm on Sunday right before the ceremony.
OA Merit Badge Weekend – October 21 – 23. Please meet at the church on Friday, October 21, at 6:00 PM. We will be camping behind the Mechanicsville VFW (Cold Harbour Rd at Bell Creek Road. The cost is $25, please use your scout account if possible. Scouts should bring a sleeping bag able to handle 40 degrees or colder, sunscreen, clothes for lows in the 40s highs in the 60s, pencil and paper, personal eating gear, water bottle, bug spray, camp chair and Class A Uniform Shirt. Please print out attached Permission Slip and read carefully.
Troop 555 Fall Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25th. Scouts please invite your friends to come visit us.
Scouting for Food Bags In and Bags Out are scheduled for October 29th and November 5th. Please make time in your schedule to help with this very important service project. We will meet at Northside Baptist Church on Studley Rd at 9:30 AM each Saturday. We should finish around 12:00 PM.
There is no meeting on Tuesday, November 1st. The church is using the Carson building for CARITAS that week. We will meet Tuesday, November 8th.
Popcorn Orders are due Tuesday, November 8th. Don’t miss the chance to increase your scout account with popcorn sales.
Winter Camp will be held January 13-16, 2012 at the Heart of Virginia Scout Reservation - Cub Adventure Camp. $50 program fee for each participant, youth or adult, covers all meals, patch and activities. Any merit badge costs will be the responsibility of each scout.

November PLC is scheduled for November 10th at 7:30 PM at the Carson Building. If you are an officer and are unable to attend you must notify the Scoutmaster. We will work on October Meetings. We are doing High Adventure for the October theme. Please go to link below.
