Youth Leader Training is scheduled for Sunday, 10/16 at 1:00 PM (THIS IS A CHANGE). Attendance is mandatory for troop leaders please inform the Scoutmaster if there is a conflict. Scouts should bring paper and pen/pencil. The Troop will provide pizza and drinks.
Please don’t forget to get your stew money turned in.
OA Merit Badge Weekend – October 21 – 23. We will be camping behind the Mechanicsville VFW (Cold Harbour Rd at Bell Creek Road). Cooks come next week with menu ideas ready. If you want to go and you did not sign up last night please notify the Scoutmaster email@example.com immediately. Leaders if you are a merit badge counselor, the OA members organizing the weekend need your help.

Scouting for Food Bags In and Bags Out are scheduled for October 29th and November 5th. Please make time in your schedule to help with this very important service project. We will meet at Northside Baptist Church on Studley Rd at 9:30 AM each Saturday. We should finish around 12:00 PM.
Popcorn Orders are due Tuesday, November 8th. Don’t miss the chance to increase your scout account with popcorn sales.
Winter Camp will be held January 13-16, 2012 at the Heart of Virginia Scout Reservation - Cub Adventure Camp. $50 program fee for each participant, youth or adult, covers all meals, patch and activities. Any merit badge costs will be the responsibility of each scout.
