Tuesday was a fun night with a new game – Next week we plan menus for the Camporee (we have 11 scouts signed up) and will have a patrol engineering competition (list of items to bring is below).
For next week's meeting please bring in the following items for the patrol engineering competition. Each patrol will have the same materials:
If you have stew money remaining, please get it in!
If you have books to return to the library – including patrol leader or Senior patrol leader books, please return them.
Catch up on your dues – there is no amnesty this year!
Congratulations to Eric and Brian on their OA ordeal and to Mr. Richardson, David, and Sam who sealed their membership. For anything OA related, see Ben Ward.
There will be no Scout Meeting on Nov. 4th. There will, however be a leader's meeting.
Popcorn orders will are due the last meeting of October. Orders will be in on November 15th.
Advice from the Scoutmaster (courtesy of Dennis Nye) If you can, take advantage of knowing people from other countries. Be a world citizen.
Please remember that Troop meetings start promptly at 7:30. Leaders are there from about 7:15 and Scouts can gather and take advantage of this time to talk to the leaders.
The calendar is on the web site. Please check it out as it is very full, and more is being added!
Some additional OA items,
Congratulations to Will and Seamus M. who also sealed their memberships in the OA. Good work!
And a very special congratulations goes to Ben Ward who received Vigil Honor. Way to go Ben!
