Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. Be thankful for everything you have and even some things you don’t.

Daytrip to Peak Experiences Indoor Climbing Facility – Saturday, December 3rd. Meet at the Carson Building at 9:30 AM. The expected cost is $15. You may bring your own climbing equipment if you have it. Any questions please contact Asst Scoutmaster Peter Francis 804-420-0983.

December PLC is scheduled for December 8th at 7:30 PM at the Carson Building. If you are an officer and are unable to attend you must notify the Scoutmaster. We will work on December and January Meetings. Please go to link below.

All Scouts in 8th grade or high school are invited to the Venture Crew’s Holiday Lock-In. Friday, December 16th at 5:50 PM at New Hanover Presbyterian Church. There will be a Tacky Light Tour, Games, Music , Gift Exchange. The event ends at 8:00 AM, Saturday morning. Please see the flyer in the bulletin board or contact Connie Boggs cboggs@vablood.org or 658-9812 with questions or to RSVP.

Order of the Arrow Carillon Pageant Project to be held in Byrd Park, Richmond. It will be held on December 22nd and 23th. Our Chapter is known for being represented in large numbers at the project. So if you’re not out-of-state at that time, please come out from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on the 22nd and 6:00pm to 8:00pm on the 23th. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are possible after the performance on the 23th.

Winter Camp will be held January 13-16, 2012 at the Heart of Virginia Scout Reservation - Cub Adventure Camp. $50 program fee for each participant, youth or adult, covers all meals, patch and activities. Any merit badge costs will be the responsibility of each scout. Final Decision needed by Tuesday, November 29.
