Great Fun at the Fire Station - we learned a lot!
There is a PLC November 13th.
This Saturday there is a service opportunity - Please help if you can! Scouts need to be at the church at 7:30 to help load up the CARITAS truck, and then we will set about fixing a few fence boards. This whole service project - both parts - should be over about 9:30. This is a great opportunity to give something back to the church that does so much for us. The Committee is meeting next Tuesday night November 18th. If you are going up for advancement (which means you have already done your scoutmaster conference) please let the Scoutmaster know when you arrive at the meeting. Remember if you are going up for advancement you need full class A's, your Scout Handbook, your Troop Guide, and most importantly Be Prepared with good Scout Spirit.
For those Scouts and families who sold popcorn, you can pick up your order Tuesday night November 18th during the meeting. Judee Showalter will be there from 7:30 -8:30 at the Scout Trailer. If you can't make this pick-up, please either make arrangements for someone else to pick-up your popcorn for you, or contact me at email@example.com<mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org> and we'll make arrangements for you to pick it up later.
For our Whitewater trip next summer, we expect the event to cost about $600 per scout. We want commitments soon, and will set up a payment schedule of $100/month for the first six months of 2009. These payments can either be made directly or by participation/planning fund raising events. We are open to good ideas to help raise funds to offset the cost of the trip.
