Thanks to all those who helped with Flags Out and Flags In this past weekend.

Cowboy Camping /Horsemanship Weekend – June 1 – 3. The troop will travel to Ford, Virginia (Dinwiddie County) to camp and work on the Horsemanship merit badge at the "Bar Creek Ranch" Equestrian Center. The plan is to “sleep under the stars” weather permitting. There is also a pond onsite that will be available for fishing. We will meet at the Carson Building at 6:30 pm on Friday, June 1st. We will return to the Carson Building at 12:00 on Sunday, June 3rd. Cost $35 for the program, the Troop will cover the food costs. Please bring pants/jeans for Saturday. Please print and sign the attached permission slip and waiver form.

Scouts please be sure and attend the meeting on Tuesday, June 5th. We will be holding Order of the Arrow (Boy Scouting’s Honor Society) Elections on that night. If we do not have at least 50% attendance the election cannot take place. Please wear your class A uniform.

June PLC is scheduled for Thursday, June 7th at 7:30 PM at the Carson Building. If you are an officer and are unable to attend you must notify the Scoutmaster. We will work on June and July Meetings. Please go to link below.

Ben Tehan’s Eagle Court of Honor is scheduled for Saturday, June 9th at 4:00 PM at New Hanover. More details will be posted in future updates.

No Scout Meeting on Tuesday, June 12th due to exam week. There will be an adult leaders meeting.

Do you want to be more involved with the Troop but don’t want to go camping? Please consider joining the committee. The Troop Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. Duties include budget, advancement, fundraising and leadership review.

If you have any current merit badge books that you are willing to part with– Please donate them to our troop library
