Congratulations to Stephen C. who bridged to the troop Tuesday night – Welcome!
Patrol Olympics was Tuesday – Congratulations to the Great Wolves! And to all who participated!!! (It was close!)
We have a tradition with Troop 555 to put flags out at the Cold Harbor National Cemetery for the Memorial Day weekend. At 5 PM on Friday (May 22nd) we meet at the cemetery to put a flag in front of each grave marker. It is truly a sight to see when we are done. On Monday (May 25th) at 5 PM we return to retrieve the flags. This is service time for those who need it, a troop event, and a great project. Here is a link to the cemetery's web page for more information and directions -> http://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/coldharbor.asp
The Summer Camp Merit Badge list and information was passed out at the meeting. Those going to summer camp should let Mrs. Coffey know what badges they want to take. Check on the Prerequisites, they need to be done ahead of time. Summer Camp Medical forms need to be turned in. Payments are also due – fees for boys $210, leaders $100. Mr. Showalter can let you know what is in your scout account and if you’ve made a deposit.
We are hoping to do a day trip to the Spy Museum on June 20th, but we need leaders to step forward to lead the trip. If you can be a leader on this trip contact Mr. Tehan.
Also for leaders – Please go to ww.Scouting .org and update your youth protection training and other on-line training.
Advice from the Scoutmaster: Be Prepared – for any old thing! (with a nod to Sir Robert Baden Powell!)

Please remember that Troop meetings start promptly at 7:30. Leaders are there from about 7:15 and Scouts can gather and take advantage of this time to talk to the leaders. If you are leaving the meeting early, please make sure the scoutmaster or an assistant scoutmaster know you are leaving so we won’t go looking for you.
