Thursday night is an Adult Leaders Meeting at 7:30 at the Carson Building. All leaders should attend. Parents willing to consider helping out the troop should think about coming as well.

Next week there is no meeting – Hanover County Schools are on spring break – No School/No Scouts.

Eric D’s Eagle project is scheduled for April 10th.

What: Service Project – Helping with Eric’s D’s Eagle Project

Who: Three scouts needed & one adult leader

When: April 10th, Saturday (Rain or Shine)

Where: Eric’s House (King’s Charter)

9427 Dogwood Garth Lane

Mechanicsville, VA 23116

Home: 550-1033

Cell: 484-4095

Why: Project to build 4 benches for Church of the Redeemer

Project: Assemble & Stain three (3) benches. The wood pieces will already be pre-cut, we just need to assemble & stain them.

We will be using an electric drill to screw them together, and some light sanding and staining.

Start Time: 10:00 AM

End Time: 2:00 PM (Approximate, we might be finished earlier)

Lunch will be provided

What to bring:

· Safety goggles

· We’ll need one electric drill, not one per scout, just one additional drill. So if you have one and can bring it, let Eric know.

Contact: Eric D. if you are interested in helping.

Mr. Elliott's Beading Ceremony is at our next troop meeting April 13th. You won’t want to miss this. He will sing – I guarantee it!

We need commitments for Summer Camp and Seabase. See a leader!

On April 13th a few more Webelo’s will be visiting our troop. On April 20th at 6:30 there will be a bridging ceremony for the Webelos twos in Pack 555. Come early and welcome our new scouts!

The next PLC is Thursday April 15th after Spring Break.

Advice from the Scoutmaster: Honesty: little lies will grow – be truthful!
