June PLC is scheduled for Thursday, June 7th at 7:30 PM at the Carson Building. If you are an officer and are unable to attend you must notify the Scoutmaster. We will work on June and July Meetings. Please go to link below.

Ben Tehan’s Eagle Court of Honor is scheduled for this Saturday, June 9th at 4:00 PM at New Hanover. Scouts please arrive at 3:00 PM for any last minute preparations. A reception will follow the ceremony. Families are invited as well as Scouts. Please RSVP so we know how much food to prepare.

Order of the Arrow Chapter 5 Pizza Party, Monday, June 11th 6:30 PM. – At Cici’s on US Hwy 360 in Mechanicsville. Please wear full class A with OA sash.

No Scout Meeting on Tuesday, June 12th due to exam week. There will be an adult leaders meeting.

Please join us Saturday, June 16th from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM for Drew Houck’s Eagle Project. This is a beautification project that will involve cleaning of brush and debris. It will also require moving bricks and a small area of rocks. There is a need for chainsawing some fallen limbs. Pizza, drinks and snacks will be served. If any leaders have trucks and chainsaws we can use them for cutting and carrying brush to the dump. Also, all scouts can bring yard tools such as limb cutters.

What to bring - Work gloves, bug spray, sunscreen, boots, possible long sleeves and jeans in case of briers.

Do you want to be more involved with the Troop but don’t want to go camping? Please consider joining the committee. The Troop Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. Duties include budget, advancement, fundraising and leadership review.

If you have any current merit badge books that you are willing to part with– Please donate them to our troop library
